Fours years ago tomorrow, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After I finished treatment, I made a goal to do things I've wanted to do.

I haven't run a 5k in over five years, and before that one, it had been ten years. For whatever reason, I would talk myself out of it, despite the fact I use to enjoy running.

It was mostly because I had gained too much weight, and I wasn't in good enough shape to it.



Now I train and do my best. I don't have to be the fastest to participate.
