I have just a few spaces left for yin yoga in September. Yin is held every Tuesday 6.15pm at Ayush spa, Hotel de France.
I love everything about yin.
A meditative yoga practise. The long posture holds encourage us to stay present and get deeply rooted into the not just the physical body but also the inner body.

Eckhart Tolle writes ~

“When you focus within and feel the inner body, you immediately become still and present as you are withdrawing consciousness from the mind.
Unless you stay present- and inhabiting your body is an essential aspect of it - you will continue to be run by your mind.”

Ending with a Savasana and silent meditation (unguided)

Yesterday my sons, nieces and nephews did their ‘Cousins walk for Conor’ and raised an amazing £8,130 for Young Lives for Cancer.
Absolutely blown away by them all!
Here are some photos starting from leaving the house at 2.15 am to arriving at the finish line at 7.24pm.
Even joined by Ian, Ciara and baby Conor on that last leg from St.Aubin’s to town.

In early April my baby nephew Conor was diagnosed with a Wilms tumour on his Kidney.
On May 15th Conor had major surgery to remove his kidney and the tumour and he now is continuing his treatment with weekly trips to Southampton.

Young Lives vs Cancer (Clic Sargent) has been a charity that have been extremely accommodating to Connor's parents, my brother Ian and his wife Ciara.

From around the world, on the 15th June, Conor’s cousins, the Ostroumoffs, Hartleys, Mackereths and Cassars will dust off our trainers and head to the coastal paths of Jersey, Jungle's in Costa Rica and beaches in France to walk/run/stagger over 500k collectively. Each doing around 48miles each, some will be doing this over the annual Jersey Island Walk.

Sundays beach yoga proceeds and cake sales will be in support of the ‘Cousins walk’
I am incredibly proud of my sons, nephews, nieces and 2 fiancé’s who are raising funds in Conor’s name to support this amazing charity.
Nicholas and Poppy, Oscar and Laura, Alice, Sandy, Luca, James, Ada and Eliza.

GUILT FREE CAKE!
My sister Ali at Portelet Bay Cafe will also be donating proceeds from the sales of her delicious cakes which will be on offer.

So come hungry, enjoy a coffee/tea and EAT THE CAKE!
