He is known to play various styles of music like, rock, jazz, blues, funk, fusion, etc, so fluidly that leaves his audience jaw dropped. Floyd has been, selflessly conducting guitar clinics to educate people about music around the country, which he thinks is a great way to discover musicians and unknown musical talents in and around the nation. His approach towards teaching is very informal and un
bound to the rule which makes it a real fun learning session. He provokes interaction among his audience and stimulates creativity and passion which is radically the main purpose of any kind of education and Floyd does that so perfectly. Being a graduate from IIT-Bombay, he works as an Electronics Engineer in Mumbai. He often travels around the country for his work. He recently became an endorsee of Godin Guitars in India, which is a Canada based company known to produce excellent guitars and basses. He has created a guitar community named Floyd’s Guitar Club, in which people can share their jam videos and get feedback from other musicians in the community and Floyd himself. Floyd Fernandes is good at many things; guitar is just one of them. Come to his clinics to meet this extraordinary person and get blown by his super amazing guitar playing abilities, when you meet him you will know how down to the earth he is.
