Beach brawl this weekend!! West Coast Outlaws running 5.35 class at Samoa Dragstrip and we ready to rip!! This will be our first passes down the track with our new Exergy Performance injectors. I can already tell the difference just with some street driving 😎

Come on out and watch some racing at the beach. 10am Saturday, 9 am Sunday, weather permitting.

Well, she’s a runner!! All back together. New tank, sump, fuel pump re-located and the new monster feed line per Aeromotives instructions 🤦🏻‍♂️ looks like a damn fire hose going to the pump.

We’re ready for the weekend, just need to wash her up tonight!

Our next few races taking us into mid September.

Next weekend July 19th-20th Beach Brawl at Samoa Dragstrip with West Coast Outlaws.

Then August 9-10 Big Sky Truck Fest in Montana with NHRDA (National Hot Rod Diesel Association)

August 31-September 1 at Medford Dragstrip for some small tire racing/testing.

September 6-7th Extreme Raceway Park with Big Jake Promotions

Then the NHRDA WORLD Finals 2024 September 13-14th at Texas Motorplex

Found a few issues with the trans, got those parts switched out and trans is back together. Hopefully smoke in the pipe tomorrow.

😎 new fleece cupless heads are here. Switching over the valve springs and getting them bolted up.

Time for those mid season updates!! And finally found where my coolant is going 🤦🏻‍♂️ cracked exhaust port causing water leaking into header and out the tailpipe.

New injectors are here courtesy of Exergy Performance, converter rebuild and ready for more abuse courtesy of D&P Torque Converters. Gonna inspect the trans while it’s out and see how this badass Sonnax Aermet input is holding up. Doing some much needed fuel tank upgrades and frame repairs. Ordered up our new set of Fleece cupless heads through Hardway Performance. Going to be a busy July getting this thing all back together and running tip top again!!

Wow, what a weekend. PB set on both days. 1.28 60’ our first hit, then 1.31 then next day during E1, and this was with the back tire. Fully believe this is actually a 1.25 based on data from other racers. I don’t have enough data of my own to compare to for now. Track was on point!!

We have a 5.5’s@126mph hotrod!! With a 1.25 60’. With still more in it.

Putting this street car in the beams tomorrow. Raceworz Sonoma 2024 is here. Biggest event in California this year. Only diesel on the property and making waves. Qualifying starts tomorrow, elimination on Sunday.

Thx to SoCal Diesel and Exergy Performance for making sure we have what need to stay ahead of the pack and keep this car going. Plan on putting this single Alpha 550 pump to the test.

Quick recap and pics from this past weekend. Drove the car from phoenix to Splendora 2 weeks ago in prep for the NHRDA Texas Nationals in Lufkin. Flew in late last week for the event. Friday night tested, low on power and low on traction, which made it hard to run the number. Saturday was HOT!! And left lane timing system broke, waited a couple hours to see if it could be fixed, then ultimately ran the event out of 1 lane.

First round got the win barely on a hole shot. Then lucked out and had the bye in the semi’s. And for the finals we finally got a tuneup in the car that made the trip. Was good enough to where I let off at 5.1 sec into the run and coasted the winning number (6.13@107).

Was a good weekend, drove the car 2k miles home right after the event and made it home Monday night at 1150pm. All together we put 4k miles on the car in 4 weeks (round trip), 4 flights between PHX, SMF, IAH and HOU. Lots of late nights, 2 races and 2 event wins!! We continue to lead in points and have another race in Canada in 3.5 weeks. Gotta get this car turned around and ready for race 3 in NHRDA.

950 miles down so far, just a few more to go tomorrow then we be home 🤣🤣🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️.

Driving thru Texas at 105 degrees sucks!! Ac not keeping up at all and neither is my cooling package. Car had its tongue out for several hours today.

Well made it Sterling Diesel Performance, cars getting tucked away for 2 weeks while we wait for our next race. 2000 miles drive from our house in Galt Ca to here in the . Lots of fuel stops and restroom breaks. We’ll be back in 2 weeks to turn her around into race mode at Pine Valley Raceway for our second race with NHRDA (National Hot Rod Diesel Association).

Need an output shaft housing for a 4L80. Looks like mine just s**t the bed as we pulled off the freeway. Haven’t torn into it yet but a spare would prob be helpful.

4pm- General spectator gates open

530pm- Mandatory drivers meeting for all drag racers

6-9pm - Drag racing (2) rounds qualifying & open Test n Tune

7-9pm - Big Rig Light Show Competition

6-9pm - Must register at the dyno, $100.00 fee
