Happy Fit Tip Tuesday!! Todays is all about how to shop at your local grocery when your on the journey to better health!!

✨When grocery shopping, try to stick to and buy most of your foods from the outside aisles of the store ✨

This is where the food your body NEEDS is. The inner aisles are mostly comprised of overly processed, artificial junk that your body really doesn't need.

My days have been super busy lately and I know that after work & school "pick up" the last thing I want to do is come home and have to think about what snack I can have that's healthy. And honestly I'm feeling my most laziest at this time so not usually in the mood to make something, more in the mood. I also don't want to eat a bunch of unhealthy snacks that are going to sabatoge all my hard work. So today when I was craving a strawberry shake I was happy that I had my go to to whip up in less than 5 to satisfy my craving and πŸ“πŸ“

I saw this quote this morning & thought it was perfect for a little mid-week fitness motivation & PUSH!!

Being healthy & fit is NOT a destination rather a journey & everyone's journey is going to look different. Even on your toughest days always remember to enjoy the process ~ Don't give up on yourself just because you're stuck, at a plateau, or just frustrated. Push through, keep going, and CELEBRATE every single thing you accomplish and every goal, big or small that you crush!! When you're struggling don't forget to look back and see how far you've come!!

Each day is an opportunity to grow stronger ~ it doesn't matter what happened yesterday or the day before, just focus on the present .... one meal at a time .... one workout at a time!!
Put that invisible crown on my beauties and crush the day!! Focus your energy on the things and thoughts that elevate you to move outside of your comfort zone vs energy that sets boundaries on what you're truly capable of .... Repeat after me ~ "I can do this, and I will do this!"

So today do what you need to do to restore faith in yourself and your abilities ~ devote yourself to your health & fitness, make it happen, and clear your mind of can't & WERK it!!!

Im not going to lie ... that talk this morning about motivation, I had to remind myself of that when I got home after work. I was a bit tired & hungry and really just wanted to sit my a$$ down and eat some cookies ( but still 😬). Instead I gave myself a quick pep-talk, chugged my and reminded myself of my goals & pushed play.

Here's the thing there will always be some good days, some ok days, some bad days on your journey to better health & fitness but you gotta accept the ups and downs and stay hungry for improvement!!! You can find inspiration in others but determination & motivation is solely YOUR responsibility

Happy Saturday & Labor Day weekend babes!!!

My Saturday fitness is complete .... It can be hard to stay on track on the weekends, especially a l o o o o o n g Holiday weekend but when you make it a priority it becomes easier to stay on track.
Crazy things happen when you kick your excuses to the curb .... a little thing called results!!! This is my favorite move from & just a few months ago it was a serious struggle & difficult for me to complete the full minute X2 but consistent effort & showing up for myself has produced increased & ~ two of my favorite victories when trying to improve in my personal health & fitness journey πŸ‘ŠπŸ»
Here's to making good on the promises I made to myself!!! If you want results you gotta show up daily.

You can always come up with an excuse but remember someone out there has less time, less energy, less options and they're working harder than you so whatever your excuse is champion yourself, KO your limits & make your health & fitness a non-negotiable!!!

It's been a busy week so far with new opportunities that have changed our "norm" but I'm not complaining because every change & challenge you face provides an opportunity for you to become stronger πŸ’ͺ🏻
Since my fitness has had to come later than my norm because I'm still working on that whole "morning person" thing tonight was a struggle to find the motivation, but I always remind myself of why I started & how far I've come in my health & fitness. Take on your limiting beliefs and you'll learn, you have !!!
In my monthly challenge groups I talk a lot about focus & self limiting beliefs. If you focus on your struggles & what you think you can't do, you'll only find yourself focusing on these more than on the possibilities in front of you. Don't self limit yourself. I have three focuses when it comes to bettering my health & fitness ....Nutrition, Accountability & Consistency. And in this journey to better health & fitness you truly need to work hard on not giving into distractions & those self limiting beliefs which includes STAYING accountable to yourself & your goals!
If you've lost sight of your focus & find yourself being your own worst limiting factor in getting your ish done then STEP up to the plate, STOP feeding your distractions and START showing up EVERY single day with YOUR best. Even if it's not much, not perfect, or if you struggle show up for YOU! Don't let your distractions throw you off course πŸ‘ŠπŸ»

Happy .... Today's tip is all about alcohol 🍷🍹🍸🍻 So even though you're eating health & exercising regularly you may not realize or think about the effects alcohol has on your progress & results. It's so easy to come home after a looooong day and pour yourself a glass of wine or on the weekend enjoy some margaritas on a sunny Saturday β˜€οΈ but alcohol puts the breaks on fat burning & can also increase your appetite. The body can't store alcohol so it metabolizes it right away and since the alcohol becomes priority in the metabolic process your body will struggle to metabolize other fats & sugars as efficiently, ultimately slowing your metabolism down over time and leading to weight gain πŸ‘ŽπŸ»

I ❀️ a good glass and of wine on the weekend, especially on a Friday night but if you're really serious about transforming your body, and your waistline then it's a small sacrifice to make babes so work out your alcohol intake because this may be what's putting your body transformation on hold πŸ™…βœŒπŸ»οΈ

If you must have that glass of 🍷or mixer on the weekend or after a tough day I've included some of my favorite "healthier" & lower calorie options!!!!
