Pineapple Films Studio began in 2010 when writer/producer/director David Nemeth experimented with his family's camera, making the films "Penguin Being Eaten", "The Cadbury Bunny", and the unpublished "The Long Road South", a documentary about the director's trip to see his then girlfriend, now wife, in Alabama. Since then, Pineapple Films Studio has grown to encompass many aspects of film. Most of
the videos produced are meant to bring smiles to people's faces and brighten their days, while a select few set out to challenge your thoughts and your life. Currently, Pineapple Films Studio's biggest project was the web series "The Door", which began in November 2011 and wrapped in January 2014. "The Door" follows the story of a man who flies out of a door in the middle of the woods and can't seem to remember who he is or from where he came. He meets a mysterious girl with a leg wound and a man who has a bizarre story just like him. Together, the three set out to find civilization and a way to escape "The Man". The series was made into a film and entered into several film festivals, earning it the "Best Independent Feature Film" at the River City Film Festival. Pineapple Films Studio has since continued to release random and funny videos to entertain the general public, such as the spoof series "The Interns", the thought-provoking "Get God Campaign", and their most recent series "Shortcut to Nowhere".
