The Glenwood Cabin is a 3 bed/2 bath (1384 sq ft) home in South Lake Tahoe. It is fully furnished with modern decor and elements of rustic charm. The cabin sleeps 10, with two bedrooms downstairs and one upstairs plus a spacious loft. The first downstairs bedroom has four twins (two bunk beds) and a nightstand. The second downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, dresser and two nightstands. The upstair
s bedroom (suite) has a cal-king bed, dresser, nightstand, sitting chair and desk. A Pack-N-Play (portacrib) can be found in the closet. There is a full bathroom on each level with soap and towels provided. There is also a loft which has a futon/couch, a 32' flatscreen (connected to cable TV, Pandora radio, Netflix, dvd/blu-ray), an assortment of board games, a shuffleboard table and two arcade game cabinets (No quarters required, they're FREE!) with classic games like Street Fighter, The Simpsons, Pac-Man, Frogger, Donkey Kong and more! A second flatscreen (boasting 40') can be found on the main floor. Our cabin has a small DVD library that has 120 titles for our vacationers to enjoy. The main floor also has a large capacity, front-loading Kenmore washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets provided. There are two driveways and a garage allowing parking for up to FIVE cars! There is a large fenced-in front yard to play in, and open land in the back. We'll be adding in a hot tub by December 2014! Just across the street (about 1000 feet) is an open meadow (think snow-mobiling in the winter!) and down the road about .5 mile is a golf-course (great fun in the summer!). The cabin is 1 mile from the lake, about 1.5 miles from Heavenly and about 2 miles to the casinos at Stateline (only $13 by cab!). Our cabin has everything you will need from basic items like new dishes and shot glasses to extras like a spices, DVDs, CD player, iron/ironing board, blow dryer, and sleds/snow toys. You can rest assured that if any accidents or emergencies occur during your stay, you'll be covered - we have a fire extinguisher, CO2 & smoke alarms, flashlights in every room and a first aid kit.
