Seeing some good ol fashioned theater in Los Angeles!

The nice folks over at Bold Journey let me write a piece on all of the work I've been doing lately. From the monthly short film showcase called the Night of Shorts Night, to my feature film, BAKERSFIELD NOIR, which will be out later this year, to my experiences with the film festival world, both with my own short and as a producer on Geoffrey Prather's work. Such a fun night at last night's Night of Shorts Night! Some incredible films and an amazing audience! Thank you to all of the filmmakers who screened and the audience that joined us!

Our next show is our Halloween show (though it's Oct. 3rd) and we're going to be holding a costume contest. First prize is $100! And all of the shorts will be scary AF!... and funny... and heartwarming... you know what, just come to the show and watch.

Thank you for screening (IMO) William Friedkin’s best film, SORCERER. This film was overlooked in its day because it was released the same weekend as STAR WARS, which is a shame because it is such an achievement in story, directing, acting, and blowing up trees. If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor and check it out!
