🌍 Just returned from a wonderful family holiday in Rhodes! This trip was especially meaningful as I navigate new experiences as a mother. My oldest son has recently relocated halfway across the world for an exciting job opportunity, while my youngest is about to start his GCSE journey.

🌞 It’s Family Holiday Time! 🌞

As a travel consultant, I know how important it is to plan the perfect family getaway.
For my own family, I always book our holidays during the January sales to get the best deals. Plus, traveling in the last two weeks of August allows us to enjoy the summer while saving a bit on costs!

This year, we’re heading to Rhodes, Greece is my favorite European destination.
With one teenage son who has autism and a grown-up son with his girlfriend joining us, careful planning is key.

Our 15-year-old’s needs take priority, so we’ve found a hotel with plenty of activities, including a must-have basketball court.

It’s all about making sure everyone has a great time!

So, we gave Maria a list of our requirements; 5* hotel, adults only, with a spa on a Greek island, near a beach, local history, old town with local restaurants. The places she showed us didn’t disappoint and we decided on the in .

Our holiday was perfect, from the beginning to the end. Maria arranged all flights at times that suited us, all transfers and even added a fast-track pass to get us through security quicker. The hotel exceeded expectations, with a choice of 4 restaurants, the infinity pool was lovely, relaxing spa treatments and the staff were all extremely helpful.

Lindos Town is beautiful with pedestrianised streets that you can wander around and get lost in. Lots of local shops, restaurants and bars. We liked Alex’s for the Calamari and the Captains House for a Mojito.

We also walked to the top of the hill to visit the acropolis that sits above the town. It’s a hot and sweaty walk but worth the trek for some great photos and views.

There are water sports and boat trips from the beach and a few nice beach bars and restaurants, Banana Beach Bar and Azurro in particular.
