Well that’s Wool@Portsoy 2024 over.
We hope everyone found something delightful from all our gorgeous vendors. And our vendors went home with much less stock!
I’m sure that all of Portsoy welcomed and benefitted with visits from our visitors.
All that’s left to do is to tidy up!

Remember if there’s a queue, be patient, you’ll get in.
Please park your vehicles with consideration for residents and local businesses. Do not block access drive ways etc.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Wool@Portsoy
Date: Saturday 24th August.

Locations: Portsoy Church Centre and The Station Hotel both on Seafield Street, Portsoy.

Time: from 10am - 4pm

Cost: please note entry is by donation. This helps us support various charities, we as a group support.
Local groups as well as national charities.

PARKING: most importantly please park with consideration. DO NOT BLOCK RESIDENTS DRIVEWAYS and ACCESS.
On street parking as available.
There is space father along Roseacre St (down side of Icecream shop, in the Square, by the Old Harbour and New Harbour.

BUS: the no 35 regularily passes through Portsoy with the bus stops right outside our venues.

We recommend the following
WOOL@PORTSOY SUPPORTERS.

*The Station Hotel and Church Centre for light refreshments.
*The delightful Porthouse Café, well worth the short walk down to the Old Harbour. When you reach the Old Harbour turn left.
The Porthouse cafe serves the most delicious coffee, snacks and light lunches. Definitely well worth the stroll down to see them and their very friendly staff.
*Whilst down at the Old Harbour do drop in past the Marble Shop. It’s full of gorgeous gift ideas and Scottish traditional wool tweeds sold by the metre, plus loads of interesting crystal gifts.
*Also super interesting is the Curiosity Shoppe, a few metres east of our venues on Seafield Street, specialising in antique clocks and lights.
* After you’ve been to the Curiosity Shoppe cross over the road (carefully!) and visit Soy Kilts. Full of traditional Scottish accessories of all kinds to delight anyone with a love for Scottish heritage.

TOILETS: public toilets on Seafield Street just past The Curiosity Shoppe and beside Old Harbour, church centre, hotel and caravan park (by office) if you go for a stroll.

PICNIC PLACES: Loch Soy behind COOP, harbours and links.
