The “Spooky at Story” event was a great success! Thank you to Abby Frisby for her organizing skills and to all the National Day on Writing committee members and to Tabatha Simpson-Farrow for leading the committee.

Hello everyone!
My name is Dr. Kristen Ruccio, and I'm the Director of First Year Writing and an Assistant Professor of English at A-State. We are engaging in a self-study of the department for a report due in January 2024, and one of my duties is gathering information about graduates from our program. Could you send me a blurb (maybe paragraph) about what you've been up to since graduating from A-State and how your degree impacts your job?
If you've got questions or you're ready to send in the information, my email is [email protected]. The information will be used in our report to The Office of Assessment. While external reviewers (2 English professors and/or administrators from other universities) will read the self-study, the final report is an internal document. To further preserve your privacy, I will keep the original information secured in my office, and I will use pseudonyms instead of your names in the self-study and final report. I would like to gather this information over the next 2-4 weeks, so please send the information by 31 October. Thank you so much!
