To all my clients who didn’t ask questions. Who were beyond patient and trusted me with your images. Who gave me time when I needed most. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your kindness & understanding.

A year of hiatus-consumed with vulnerability, challenges, sacrifice. A year of struggles, a year of juggling, a year of triumph filled with silent tears. A year full of denial.

A final year of creating memories has alas come to an end with much heartbreak and peace.

She gave me life. She taught me self love, self-worth. Before the dawning of digital cameras, she believed in my dreams, and help me purchase my first medium format. She was my constant advocate, she was... my Mother.

In this lifetime- I hope that I’ve fulfilled my obligations as a child, as a daughter.

Mom- What I miss most is your voice, your smile, your quiet presence. I miss you calling me by my nickname, for no one calls me by that name but you.

All my days... I will remember our last year & how it was spent with love, gentleness, and dignity. I love you.
