Holy flying mouse batman... 🐭 So I'm sort of laughingly in trouble for feeding the mice! That apparently is the definition of leaving the compost inside, under the sink, without a lid. My logic, and there is some, is that it's better to give them access to fruit and veggie scraps, than have them fight their way back into the now mouse-proofed food cupboard. This is the reality of living in a farm house with a mouse, or ten. Somewhere far away from corporate life, although some projects I worked on have unfortunately had more than the 8 evictions we have collectively effected with this farmhouse mouse population. There was the mouse in the icecream maker box, who didn't evacuate when it was opened, so it was closed back up, and he got taken out near the horse feed shed. I laughed at the description of a mouse doing a dance and the appearance of ooh ooh ouch as his little teeny feet hit grass, something that mouse was totally unaccustomed to. Then we had the mouse in the toaster, just cover the top, take it out and tip ... And the mouse who came out into the middle of the floor during dinner and was detained under an empty icecream container, until he could be relocated near the shed, coincidentally where the, by now, well-fed snake was living at that time. Ah the bucolic bliss of it all, and they say I make them think of Green Acres... I'll tumble for you... So I shouldn't take songs so literally. This is taking a tumble on my first ever turn on a skateboard. With thanks, I think, to Nick for the evidence, I'm still wondering about falls and pride. Perhaps I had to ditch my pride to even take this ride. Funny, or not so haha, I got a sense of impending danger just before the quarter pipe and wanted to steer away. Do you have someone in your life who takes you past your point of comfort? Is the danger zone an area of great potential personal growth? I got straight back on the skateboard after this. I'm stubborn. I wasn't going to, however it was Nick who convinced me, where my stubborn refusal had kicked in with travel companion. Pretty sure this is not demonstrative of his surfing prowess... Really not much swell in Far North Queensland, but occasionally you can find a wave to ride. I don't much care that he'll probably cringe I've shared this, as to me seeing him catching a wave, even one more suited to an ant on a paddle pop stick, was wonderful. I always sunbake in this drain ☀️ A sizeable lace monitor lizard (also known as a goanna in Australia) putting on a display for us in Mission Beach, Queensland According to travel companion he'd rather have an errant snake climb in a tent than a lace monitor... Those claws can do damage and just read they do actually have some venom. But they also generally keep a happy distance, and view you with a watchful eye. With several planets in Aries at present we're all working to master a bit of fire twirling in our lives. Situations are combustible with Mars meeting Uranus in Fire sign Aries directly opposite Jupiter in Air sign Libra which helps blow the whole thing out of proportion. How do we balance these elements with Water and Earth? We've got the Water emphasis with the Sun (post solar eclipse) now meeting Neptune in Pisces. We can either channel huge waves of compassion or delude ourselves that nothing is happening ... If we want to earth out, sticking our head in the sand will obscure the view of the fireworks. A more useful action might be to change ourselves by grounding our energy and figuring that the waters of compassion or smothering nature of earth will get the fiery outbursts better under control.
