22 years ago next week we first got together as The Deep Woods Band.
Well friends and fans we are going to take a break from this project for awhile.
Not to worry, we’ll be back at it one day in the future.
But right now we’re going to focus on our new project.
Playing Surf Music.
Yes you read that correctly. Surf Music.
The new band is called
The Divine Wind Brotherhood

We’re working on creating some content to watch and listen to so keep checking back.
Our first show will be on April 27th at Old World Deli in Corvallis.

The new band will be debuting in Spring 2023 but we will posting updates soon along with a band page for it.

Apparently we now have a page where Facebook has posted a bunch of stuff that totally doesn’t relate to The Deep Woods Band. I understand some of the relevance of some of the posts but some make no sense whatsoever. It looks like a time sink that I didn’t ask for or want.

We have a bit of a show on Saturday in Oakridge at Deep Woods Distillery End of (world) Summer Party We will be hitting the stage at 8 PM for a couple of sets. We've added a new player to our lineup, Debbie Love on Sax and Keys.

Well let’s try this NYE party again. But in the Spring this time when all the mandates have been lifted and the world is ready to celebrate.
Plan to be at the Summit Grange on April 30th to finally ring in the new year.

Yes it’s true. New Year’s Eve. Summit Grange. $5 or more if you want as it’s a fundraiser for the Grange.
