Today was very hard. I had to finally come to the reality that our artist Betty Schweitzer-Johnson will never come back. She passed this year. With a heavy heart I put back pieces I had made for her to put her pretty art on back into stock. Tossed the foam I put in between every precious tray she would pick up and drop off. Every little piece of scrap paper or cardboard notes on every tray of what to paint. Spray guns paints all of it gone. The art goes with the artist. That's the way it should be. I'll miss the little things like taking her art in a matte perfectly done master piece and putting some clear on it. I'll miss her for taking her hard work and packaging it to it's best presentation. Most importantly I will miss her as a person and a big part of my little family. She can't be replaced and we have no intentions of doing so. Words can't say how cool she was. She was very unique and humble as the best artists are.
