Mark found this awesome cookbook at a recent estate sale. I had no clue it was worth so much until I looked it up.
Melrose Plantation Cookbook by Francois Mignon and Clementine Hunter 1956 | eBay Facsimile reprint of limited first edition. This book contains her recipes! They demonstrate another aspect of her artistry, for she uses ordinary ingredients in an extraordinary way.

Newly listed! I don't like to use the word "rare" as it gets overused in the reselling world, but I could only find reference to one other pair of these that sold a couple of years ago. Sometimes it's a good thing when a buyer doesn't pay. Sold this on auction for $107. The buyer never paid for it. Relisted it Saturday and it sold today for a $150 offer. It is going to Romania so thanks to using Pirate Ship for my international shipping, I'll make a little extra.
This is one of the coolest books I've ever seen. He also made a Pop-Up book of Nightmares. Now I'll be on the hunt to find it, and maybe one day find this again.
