He is the longest standing president in the history of Maltese water polo. Over the last few years he has overseen the club's resurgence program including the construction and development of the club's new state of the art facilities which has made the club a force to be reckoned with in the local water polo scene.

In 2021, Mr. Tosun also had the opportunity to work at international sports agency - GROW Rising Talents where he worked closely with Dr. Erkut Sogut, the renowned agent of Mesut Ozil, Kieran Gibbs and Cenk Tosun. In terms of academic qualifications, Mr. Tosun has attained certification in Sports Law and Management from Kadir Has University and was awarded a Bachelors degree in management from Sabanci University.
