Newly worked on. This painting was just the sea but over the last week I have added the albatross into the painting. Full details of the painting are on my website where it is under 'British Seascapes'. The albatross is a rare bird in the UK as it usually lives in the Southern Hemisphere but there is one that can be seen at Bempton Cliffs on the Yorkshire Coast!

'Plane's Avenue Green Park: Hot Summer of Love'

Etching just printed and available in 3 slightly different syles : black, brown (as below) and a hazy pale brown. It is in an edition of 20 (Black edition of 35). The image size is 19x31" so a large, impressive etching especially once it is framed. Will be on my website soon but do let me know if you are interested and don't see it on the website or wish to see one of the other versions of this etching.

Starting to print this Whitfield etching again. I made a painting on the spot not a couple of years ago which I then created an etching of. I painted from the scar looking over the dale to Addlebrough - 'Addlebrough from Whitfield Scar - Wensleydale'

Due to health reasons I wish to rent out my barn painting studio to a local Wensleydale artist (not necessarily a painter). Full details are in the image. Please phone or email me to request time to come and view the barn if you are interested – 01969 650434 or [email protected]. There are stairs in the first room which lead to a second floor which I will be using for storage of smaller items which I do not wish to carry to my home just below the barn studio.

Starting in just over a week this show will have around 60 of my best seascapes focusing on the North Eastern Seas. Most of the works are oil paintings with a couple of etchings and a watercolour to mix things up. There is also a browser of etchings of the sea for you to look at!

I do hope you will be able to check it out at some point over the summer.
