Century Modern Gallery is an eclectic gallery with a mix of high art and low brow design located in Austin Texas. We principally showcase the photography of Ann Harkness as well as other Texas and New Mexican regions, photographers and artists work. Additionally we buy and sell vintage mid century art, antiques and books. Our goal is to make and sell art as well as antiques that are accessible to all collecting levels.
Our Story
Century Modern Gallery is a private gallery that mixes accessible art and design as well as photography services located in Austin Texas. We showcase Texas and New Mexican regionalist photographers, printmakers, and artists works from the 20th and 21st century. Additionally we buy and sell lesser known vintage mid-century art, antiques and books.
Our current offered works include:
Ann Harkness, Stella Alesi, Leon Alesi, Jeff Baker,Rachel Koper, Ryan Kronk, Otto McKay, Damien Nile, Scott Stephens, Milo Smith, David Glenn Smith and Chuck Voelter.
We are currently also offering a large selection of German mid-century ‘lava’ pottery from 1940s-1980s and have a good inventory of mid-century paintings.
We also offer a host of design, digital archiving and editing of clients home photo collections.
