Cool fact about last night’s road trip to our Iowa Farm…I got the amazing opportunity to ride on a roll back…LOL…cause my durn farm truck broke down on 1-70 just East of Columbia, Missouri….NO FUN! Had a roll back come load me up and the tow truck drive was awesome and we got it back road worthy at 1am this morning in a gas station parking lot. This truck is a 2009 GMC Duramax and with it being a flat bed…it has two tanks and the rear tank fuel pump died leaving that tank full and the front tank was pumped dry…so I actually ran out of diesel fuel even though the fuel hand showed half a tank. Sorta crazy but and Autozone manager brought me a new fuel filter as I thought the filter had clogged and the tow truck driver came later and we figured it all out. I say that to say that my outlook on humans was changed last night by these kind dudes! Even called me to say he would come get me with his truck and gooseneck trailer today if I needed him to! Totally awesome people….thankful the Dirtymax is back on the road and I rolled into the Farm at 4am….

This morning on our TN farm….I had the opportunity to talk with New Hires for NRCS and explain my role as a landowner having the opportunity to work with Great organizations like Natural Resource Conservation Service and Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency with our end goal of making farms better for all Wildlife that calls these places home! I hope this crew continues on to work with landowners inside the state to create what the owners envision for their particular wildlife goals. Tonight, while sitting in a hotel In Atlanta, GA, I had the pleasure of being a judge for …The Western Hunter…Playoffs and we picked Cody Paratore as Western Hunter Winner! What an amazing evening of stories from the finalists…and congrats Cody on being a WINNER is many ways….

We are in Parma, Idaho today setting up the range and verifying scope date for tomorrow Experience! She is gonna he a bit warm but FUN nonetheless!

Field trip this afternoon to manufacturing facility in Boise, Idaho to look into the new ELR bullet weights we are working on in .40, .45 and .50 calibers.

Boarding a bird in route to Boise for a Experience in Nampa, Idaho and checking trail cams….this Bachelor Pad plot on our Iowa farm is looking amazing!!! Another positive affirmation that Anabolic Grow Seed Coat works! I am truly excited to see how this farm transforms from a cattle operation to a whitetail farm with these products applied and put to work!

Me and .smotherman tore some lips at the Iowa farm right at dark tonight! I broke out the fly rod and caught my bass using that tackle and Alex snagged a hammer on the last cast!

The last few days have been amazing here in Wyoming and got the pleasure of spending time on the water with my son .smotherman on his 24th Birthday! We set hooks, ripped lips and landed a huge carp, brown and rainbow trout and a few walleye….also got sunburnt to the 10’s but dang…..what a couple of days with some durn good people! Happy Birthday Son!!

Ain’t too good at this…but dang….this stuff never happens in ugly places!!

Storms blew thru south central Iowa last night bring some needed rain! Can’t wait to go check the plots I planted a few weeks ago as this was the second rain in as many weeks and the view from the front door is not too bad after a rainy night!
