We're Moving! Again! It’s hard to believe it, but after only a few months, we’ve outgrown our space on Fletcher. I’m so grateful to Djo and Black Forest Bakery for giving us a welcoming home for last 6 months. It seems that moving to Glassell Park was just the shakeup we needed.

I love when the class makes homemade pasta, it’s honestly one of my favorite things to teach!!
Parker Rolls are my new favorite thing to bake. Look how gorgeous these are, and kids in my class made them! We roasted chicken and turned the rolls into barbq chicken sandwiches. 😍

My cooking school The Silver Lake Kitchen is in full swing! The kids are working hard to make incredible food: tortillas, tacos, strawberry shortcake, pita, hummus, tatziki, tabbouleh, and last day of session 1 ends with cupcakes! It’s a blast.

Lemon lime bars always seemed like a sophisticated dessert until I had a classroom filled with lil’ chef students who were super excited to make them. Why are they lemon lime? When I was writing a recipe I didn’t have enough lemons! Sometimes you have to adjust.
Summer crudite can be simple or complex. This was one of my favorite recipes to write and food style for magazine. The bright and acidic green goddess dressing was a perfect add to the earthy vegetables.
