Girls on the Run are headed to the Color Run!

The Girls on the Run program was led this spring by teacher Kristina Lombardo for 16 girls from WI, funded in part by the Foundation via a grant. The girls trained for months and just completed a 5k race last Friday, May 31! The program builds self-esteem in girls through a combination of workshops and training. This amazing group has been invited to be pace-setters for the short course at the Color Run on June 15th, so watch out for them and try to keep up! 🥰🏃🏻‍♀️💪🏾

✨ The Where & When: Saturday, April 27 at the Tarrytown House Estate (49 East Sunnyside Lane, Tarrytown). Cocktails from 6-7pm. Live auction, dinner and dancing from 7-11pm.

💡 Buy Ahead: Get your glow sticks and pick them up at check-in.

✍️ Pre-Register: Make sure your Give Smart profile is filled out with your meal choice, email address, and cell phone number to make registration a breeze.

🚕 Don’t Drive: There will be NO VALET PARKING this year, so use taxis/Uber to get there. Jimmy’s Taxi will be on-site to take you home for $5/person.

We’re playing a new game—Heads or Tails—at the Starry Night gala and can’t wait for you to join the fun! One winner will be crowned with an amazing surprise experience for you and your friends valued at over $1,000 (we know, the suspense is probably killing you, but trust us, it’s a great prize… 😉).

Here’s how Heads or Tails works:

🌟 Purchase a glow stick for $20 (order them now at our link in bio — the more glow sticks you get, the higher your chances of winning our elusive prize!)*

💃 When the game begins, everyone with a glow stick will be invited to the dance floor. While standing, place your glow stick either over your head for “heads” or by your lower back for “tails.”

🪙 Our amazing auctioneer, Cate Smit, will flip a coin and announce which side it lands on. If your choice matches the coin flip, you remain standing. If not, take a seat and cheer on your fellow participants.

Chances are unlimited, and the more you buy, the longer you’ll stay in the game. May the odds be ever in your favor!
