순창 용궐산 하늘길 opened a few years ago and since then they have added even more mountainside trails (and a 4,000won entrance fee). It’s a pretty easy hike (45min to the top) and surprising its dog friendly. The trail zigzags up the face of the mountain so it’s nonstop views all the way up :)

Elephant Hawk-Moth caterpillars look like a snake! Never seen one of these before. The Hawk-Moth is pretty cool too.

Lots of new bike paths around Damyang. Most of them are pretty easy and family friendly. BYOB(ike) 😆

The Gwangju Lake Eco-Park (10 minute walk from the house) has opened new sections of trails and now connects to the dam on the other side of the lake. It’s family friendly (no dogs) and plenty of shade cover along the trail. It’s the easiest 5km+ of hiking trails in all of Korea so no excuse to miss out 😂

몇 주 전 KBS방송국에서 50명 정도의 스텝분들이 효심이네 각자도생 드라마를 찍기위해 더담양하우스를 방문하셨습니다. 지난 밤 (12월 3일) 더담양하우스가 방송되었고 다음주 방송에도 나올 수 있으니 더담양하우스를 와보신 분들은 시청해보십시오^^

A few weeks ago KBS arrived at our house with a 50-person crew to film for the TV drama 효심이네각자도생! Last night (Dec 3rd) some of those scenes aired on KBS. If you ve ever been to the house it’s worth a watch! Strong possibility we ll be featured in future episodes (next weekend) as well :)
