On 26th April 2019 I hung my apron up as Store Manager at The Body Shop before beginning my Charlotte Tilbury journey on 7th May 2019.

Funnily enough, I stepped out of Covent Garden Station on my first day at The Body Shop and looked straight up at the Charlotte Tilbury store and told myself it wouldn’t be long until I was part of Team Tilbury. And of course popped in on my lunch break to grab a few bits!

Since joining Charlotte Tilbury I’ve gone from my early twenties to my late twenties (eeek how am I 30 next year?!) and through an entire pandemic where at one point I was one of a small team who were the only retail staff working in the UK!

I’ve met some truly amazing people whether that’s customers or colleagues, I’ve made friends for life and had opportunities I couldn’t even dream of!

I was part of the first team in our first ever Travel Retail counter in London Heathrow T5 and part of the first Virtual Services team. I’ve met Charlotte several times, been featured on the Instagram, hosted live streams across the website and IG, my content has been on TikTok, the app and emails along with constantly developing and learning new skill sets, just to name a few.

Today is a day of reflection for me and feeling proud of what I’ve achieved.

Here’s to 5 years at the craziest but best company and I can’t wait for what’s to come 🥂

From all things digital (my favourite, of course), to the retail teams and finally getting to meet my CT friends in person who I speak to online, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was such a funny, motivating and inspiring day and when I say you 👏🏻 are 👏🏻 not 👏🏻 ready for what’s to come to Charlotte Tilbury for the rest of 2023 - wow!!

Products I’ve been loving 💆🏼‍♀️

If you’re on TikTok you would have seen the huge hype around and as someone who loves haircare just as much as my skincare and makeup, I had to invest!

Both oils I purchased are amazing, they haven’t irritated my sensitive scalp and I’ve already seen improvements along with my hair looking (and feeling) soft and nourished 🫶🏻

I also picked up the micro fibre towel from which I can only describe as “this must be what an actual cloud feels like!”

YOUR MONDAY REMINDER TO WEAR YOUR SPF ☀️

I don’t care if it’s rain or shine, SPF needs to be worn every day to protect your skin and even more so if you’re like me and love your retinals and acids!

The is by far the best on the market. It’s so good, I always have a back up! I’ve been using this for over a year now and it’s perfection in a bright blue tube 🤌🏻 the highest protection, glowy, non greasy and looks stunning under makeup.

Take the advise from a pale pale gal who’s had to have moles removed and looks after her skin as much as humanly possible.. wear the damn SPF and protect the skin you’re in 🫡

When you get sunshine in England you take advantage of it, immediately ☀️

I’m SO excited to announce that after a crazy 2 years working on the Virtual Services team at Charlotte Tilbury that I have now been promoted to Assistant Business Manager!

It’s safe to say I’ve worked my lil 🍑 off since joining the brand over 3.5 years ago now starting in our Flagship Heathrow T5 team. I’m so thrilled to be stepping into this new role to push and elevate Virtual Services even more.

The difference lighting can make ⚡️

These images show the exact same makeup, no adjustments, no touch ups and only taken minutes apart but they look SO different. Here’s why…

One is golden hour lighting: aka stood in the sun in my bathroom.. it adds warmth, it shows what the shades actually look like in person, it makes my eyes glisten and hair look blonder! ⛅️

One is ‘studio’ lighting: sat in my loft with minimal natural light and 3 bright lights blinding me. It washes out the colours, looks a lot cooler and looks a little lifeless. (In my opinion) 📸

Lighting plays a HUGE factor in how your overall makeup looks. It’s so important to remember this whether you’re doing your own makeup or having it done by a professional. Hence why sometimes we look fabulous indoors and as soon as we step outside we have the odd occasion where we look a hot mess! (We’ve all been there…)

It’s also a reminder that not everything is as it seems on social media.

But that’s just my hot take…
