Healthy nails appear smooth and have consistent coloring. As you age, you may develop vertical ridges, or your nails may be a bit more brittle.

Ridges or irregularities can be caused by dip and other artificial nail treatments. I personally saw it happen on one nail that I used dip powder on just because it had broken. One the dip was removed, my nail was no longer smooth.

Conditions such as dry skin, eczema, and thyroid disease can change the nail bed. Some medications, such as those used for chemotherapy can cause changes as well.

A for me!
I use my apple corer/slicer from PC to make slices like you see in the graphic. I love to put Peanut Butter on them!

My favorite is Granny Smith, although I love a lot of different types. BUT they must be fresh and crisp.

💙I started with all nails sporting Black Widow, but I wanted something more.
🖤I tried adding Watch Your Web 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒂 𝒃𝒊𝒕 𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒓, but I didn’t love it. So what did I do? Added Glittersweet because everything’s better with glitter no?! I still wasn't sure… SO

Do YOU use gloves when you wash dishes or clean with detergents/water, etc?

It took me awhile to find some that fit my hands well, but I ALWAYS wear them when washing dishes. I even use disposable gloves when using something like a Lysol wipe.

𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉𝒚 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒏𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒔?

I'm loving how strong mine have gotten by consistently using our cuticle oil (a couple times/day rubbed into the cuticle area AND the skin just below the nail plate) as well as our strengthener (which can also be used as a base or top coat).

I do get a little bummed when a corner breaks as it did on my pointer finger. I'm so OCD about them, it almost makes me want to file them all down so they'll all be square. I know, I know.... Weird...

Now to decide what to put on next, which is always one of my tougher decisions each time I change them up....🤔
