Ok, I admit. This came out a couple of weeks ago and a client knew before I did.

Is it true?

In April of this year, I started getting panic phone calls that Intuit was discontinuing all desktop products, forcing everyone to move to QuickBooks Online. It turns out they were just sunsetting QuickBooks 2020.

This year has been a learning year. Yet, the goal is still the same. Regardless, ALWAYS commit to be the best version of yourself.

The more financially organized you are in your business, the less opportunity someone will have to steal from your practice. You are the business owner. Never give business control to anyone else, even your CPA.

Setting a goal is a great start to achieving success, but it is not enough on its own. Without a plan, that goal might feel overwhelming or unattainable.

Take some time to think about your goal and create a plan to turn that wish into a reality. Remember, with dedication and effort, anything is possible.

During the pandemic is when I decided I wanted to always call a practice employee a Team Member. It is when I saw so many Team Members come together and truly work as a team, under the effective leadership of the Coach Doctor Owner. It is also when I saw many teams fall apart from lack of leadership. For many practices, it will take years to cultivate the teams that existed prior to the pandemic. Currently, higher Team Member wages and lower insurance reimbursements are strapping practices financially. Hence, another reason for a business management design to your accounts payable software.

If you do not want to change software, then don't. If you are uncomfortable in a recommended tax deduction, then research it at IRS.gov. If you find yourself not challenged to grow into the person you have the potential to be, then change your environment. Seek out those who align with where you want to be. But remember, ultimately, absolutely no one should be able to force you to do something you do not want to do. STAND FIRM!

Interest rate hikes stink if you need a loan or are carrying a credit card balance but they are great for high-yield savings accounts and CDs. High yield savings accounts make money for you without expended energy.

Your practice consultant is an important aspect of growing your practice and keeping your practice on target with your goals.
