FUNK U

Dj and producer from the south of Spain (Cadiz), he began his career at the age of 19. With a far more underground style within the most listened music in the south, break beat, he little by little took place in the scene under the artistic name 'Funk U'. Funk U has been recognized for its devastating and solid bass sound, changing its style and performance over the years, being able to play at different types of events (parties, fairs, warehouses) or even
festivals as renowned as 'Sunday Breaks Festival'. Moreover, through the years he has had the opportunity to perform on various radio stations in the UK and even in Russia for the highly popular and renowned collective 'IN BEAT WE TRUST'l whose owner is the legendary 'Lady Waks'. All this has given him recognition in different countries such as Spain, the United Kingdom, Latvia, Malta, etc.

His Beatport sales have reached the top 10 several times by such significant labels as: Spektra records, Distortion records, Need money records, Elektroshock records, Soul Deep Digital records, The pooty club records, Beat by brain records and more recently by 83 Label. Not only dedicated to the southern Breaks style, he has also been part of several Ro Minimal scenes, by the well-known 'Boats' on the canals of Hackney Wick (London) rebelling sets with a much more ambient and progressive sound. Currently Borja is a resident in one of the most powerful collectives regarding
the Tech House scene on the island of Malta 'BAMBOLEO' and in the deepest Drum and bass/Break Beat scene with MIB crew, dJing in well-known venues such as Qube, Ivy House, Tigulio, 77 etc.... giving therefore a fresher, more danceable and acceptable sense (in terms of commercial matters) to their sets.

Artist Presentation:

Music has always played important role in Lenzie’s life. Close to rave culture since his early 20’s. At the beginning of 2021 he learned basics how to DJ and started sharing mixes on his growing YouTube channel “IntenseSounds”.
Played at venues like Meraki in Liverpool, Hala Olivia in Gdansk or Drum Basstion Festival. Drifting between dark and heavy neurofunk, deep rollers and energetic dancefloor, you can expect to hear some weighty tunes during his sets.

Artist Presentation:

Oliwer Urban aka Olliee - active since 2020, music producer and DJ, focusing mainly on Liquid Drum and Bass music. Drummer of the funk-rock band "Many Fix".
He released his productions on such labels as the British "Four Corners Music" or the Canadian "170+ Recordings".
He has performed in clubs all over Poland, including: CEL, Sfinks700, Wyspa Tamka and Szpitalna1. He also appeared at several festivals such as Carbon Music Festival, BassRiver and Dub'n Bass. He also performed abroad at events in the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. In 2022, he was nominated for the “Newcomer of the Year 2022” award in the polish electronic music awards called “Munoludy” by muno.pl.
