I crafted this custom canvas strap for my own Seiko watch. Canvas and nylon straps have a tough, rugged-look and, utilitarian feel. There’s a reason they were the choice for military watches back in the day. I used a thrifted khaki army bag for this one, creating a 20mm strap tapering to 16mm, with rolled edges to minimize fraying and a leather underside for added comfort. Finished with a matte winged stainless steel buckle.

Finally posting this batch of straps I made last year! 😅 Two denim straps crafted from a client’s repurposed Levi’s shorts and one gray sheep suede strap. We added the iconic Levi’s red tab and a part of the jacron patch to the strap keepers for a unique touch—and to make sure no part of the denim went to waste.

The most nerve-wracking part of making a watch strap? Punching the holes — especially on this rally-style strap where extra holes add to the racing vibe. Each hole has to be perfectly aligned and evenly spaced, which is tricky but so satisfying when it comes out just right. Made this all-black strap with a squared-off tip for a repeat client's Fossil chronograph. I enjoyed the challenge and happy with how it turned out.

A custom dark gray (almost black) strap for a client’s Seiko SKX diver. We went with dual stitching—blue on one side and red on the other—for a unique look. The strap is 22mm tapering to 20mm, with a floating keeper stamped with the client’s initials. A personalized touch for a fan-favorite watch.

Here’s my first attempt at crafting a strap with this navy Demso Chevre goat leather as the top layer. Some luxury strap makers use this leather for the underside, but I was curious to see how it would look as the main feature. I’m really pleased with the result—it has a unique texture, feels durable, and adds a refined touch to any watch. This is a 20mm strap tapering to a 16mm buckle, with an off-white minimal stitching, crafted for a client's Seiko Alpinist watch.

1 Watch + 4 Straps. Recently wrapped up these custom straps for a loyal client, Bro Justin of Dekada Vintage Watches PH. Crafted in 17mm tapering to 14mm, we intentionally left the stitching off para ma-showcase yung rich texture of the exotic leather. We both agreed na this clean, stitchless design pairs well sa the classic, elegant appeal of the Rolex Cellini 😁✨⌚

When a client reached out to me for a strap for their Seiko, they were looking for something understated yet full of character. After some discussion, we decided to use this vintage olive brown cowhide leather for its rugged yet refined look. This strap has a 20mm width that tapers down to 18mm at the buckle. We kept the stitching minimal, using a bluish-gray thread that adds a hint of contrast. We also added a crease line along the edges, giving it just the right amount of detail without overwhelming the overall look of the strap. It's all about those small, thoughtful touches that make the strap uniquely theirs.

The Cartier is paired with a sleek 17mm dark navy blue snake leather strap, tapering to 16mm, with matching dark blue stitching for a seamless look.

For the Orient, we used the last of my green ostrich leg leather to create a 15mm strap, tapering to 14mm.

I like how these turned out — each strap complements the character of the watches.

Kapag may nagpapagawa sa akin ng watch strap, I always make it a point to match not just the style, but the overall vibe and character of the watch. I start by asking the client kung may specific look ba silang gustong i-achieve or if they have a particular watch or design they want to draw inspiration from.

In this case, para sa Cartier watch ng isang client, we took inspiration from the warm, vintage charm of the timepiece. He wanted a classic, timeless look, so we decided using this ostrich leg leather in a light tan color, to complement the gold tone of the watch case and matching gold PVD buckle. I also incorporated apricot stitching to match the aesthetic of the watch. The end result? A strap that embraces that ‘old money’ elegance, in harmony with the vintage sophistication of the Cartier Tank.
