Old Mill Varsity Football

The following information pertains to Old Mill’s Homecoming football game vs. Meade High School this Friday, October 7th and Monday October 10, 2022.



The Varsity game will begin at 5:30 pm on Friday Oct. 7 and the JV game will begin at 5 pm on Monday Oct. 10.



(*Note that the varsity game was previously advertised as a 5 pm game, however in order to allow our varsity team to participate in other homecoming activities and still have enough time to prepare for the game, the game start time has been moved to 5:30 pm.)





The Old Mill High School Administration and Athletic Department have issued the following information on the Old Mill High School stadium policies:



The cost of tickets is $5.00 per person (with additional $1 online processing fee).
Tickets will only be sold online at gofan.co (NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE GATE)
Ticket sales are shutting down at 4:30 pm on Friday night prior to the Varsity game (or as soon as they sell out); NO tickets will be sold after that time. We will NOT re-open ticket sales at the gate, so it’s crucial that any parent that wants to see their athlete play purchases tickets early/ASAP. Please anticipate that we will sell out early.
HIGH SCHOOL students will enter through the gate by the press box in the baseball outfield, parents and middle/elementary school students will enter through the main gate.
EACH middle/elementary school student (and younger) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to enter the stadium. We will turn away unaccompanied students who are not high school students if they do not have a parent or guardian with them, regardless of whether or not they’ve purchased a ticket. Parents/guardians are responsible for monitoring child behavior at all times for the duration of the game.
If you are involved in any type of altercation or disruption at the event, you will be removed and banned from all athletic events for the remainder of the season, or longer.
There will be no ball playing, running around, or horseplay inside the stadium during events; this will result in immediate removal from the event, no exceptions.
Once you leave the stadium, you will not be permitted to reenter.
No water bottles or Outside Food or Drink of any kind will be allowed inside our stadium.
No backpacks will be allowed inside the stadium. Students will be directed to leave their bags in the field outside the stadium. OMHS is NOT responsible for any bags, contents, or belongings. (Small purses may be permitted but are subject to administrative search.)
Spectators are expected to be in the bleachers, watching the game and cheering in an appropriate manner during all stadium events. Foul language or other displays of poor sportsmanship are not tolerated. Spectators may NOT stand along the fences to watch the game.
Certain areas (surrounding the old concession stand and behind the home bleachers for example) will be blocked off for access. Any student spectators found in the gated off areas will be removed from the event immediately, no exceptions.
Concessions will close at the start of the 4th quarter.
Students should be picked up after the game in the Old Mill Middle North parking lot. Access to the stadium lot will close at the end of the third quarter.
At the end of the game, all spectators MUST exit immediately and report to their modes of transportation. No loitering in the parking lot or stadium is permitted.


Students/guests are expected to comply with the above expectations and all other AACPS, Athletics, and OMHS rules and requirements. Those who do not comply with any of the above will be directed to exit the stadium (regardless of age) and must arrange their own transportation to exit. Refunds will NOT be provided.
