Scripture: Exodus 12

Sermon: Who Should Celebrate Passover?

Passover is not a Jewish or Israelite feast! Judaism, European, Jewish or Israelites do not have a special claim on this feast to uniquely call it our own. We did not create it, institute it, nor did we have the desire and spiritual will to make this celebration what it is. On on hand pride and arrogance sees the ownership in claiming Pesach to belong to them. On the other hand, Humility sees Pesach belong to who originally designed it, The Most High.
Leviticus 23:1-2, 4, 14, 37

As a result, we have to abide by the rules, ways, and instructions according to The Most High and HOW DESIRES for us to celebrate his feasts, in particularly, Pesach or Passover! On of the first and most important Instructions is found in
Exodus 12:43-49

Sermon: Sunday - Saturday: Historical, Fictional, or Biblical? - pt.13 Cont’d

EXEGETE CORRECTLY

The seven-day week with its cycle of Sunday through Saturday has ancient origins, dating back at least to the ancient Babylonians in the 2nd millennium BCE. The Babylonians marked time with lunar months but also had a separate calendar with a seven-day week that was not connected to the monthly cycle. Each day was associated with one of the seven “planets” known to them (the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn). This astrological system for the week spread to civilizations including the Persians, Greeks, Romans, and northern Europeans. Is there Historical evidence showing that the Sumerian civilization has earlier origins than the Egyptian? This question is essential because it goes to the heart of the Sabbath Controversy itself! Today the seven-day week is near-universal around the world. While some cultures start the week on Sunday, others on Monday, the order of days is the same.

Sermon: Is Celebrating Purim a Pagan Nation Practice? - pt 5

I intend to demonstrate that Purim is Prophetic, in the sense that the people living during the Assyrian Captivity had a role in bringing about the prophetic declaration that the Most High would fulfill his Promise to Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. Esther and Mordecai play a crucial role in getting the Israelites in captivity to turn back to the Most high as his Providence demonstrates his faithfulness and commitment to his promise
Purim is also Prophetic in another sense. There are Post Exilic Promises that were made to Israel that the people living during Purim. These promises include, the return from exile, restoration of Jerusalem, spiritual renewal, and the coming of the Davidic Messiah.
The legitimacy of celebrating Purim today is grounded in the continued acceptance and practice within biblical and Israelite tradition found in the Book of Esther. While this Book may lack explicit theological language, the Purim's cultural, historical, and communal significance remains integral to Israelite observance and I would even argue identity.

PARASHAT Vayikra (And He Called) ויקרה In this Torah portion, God describes the laws of animal sacrifice. God explains the different sacrifices that atone for guilt or sins, and distinguishes between sins committed inadvertently and sins committed on purpose.

I want to compare and contrast the passages from Parashat Vayikra (Leviticus 1:1-6:7), 1 Samuel 15:2-15:34, and Hebrews 10:1-18, we'll examine the salient points, themes, and teachings from each passage.

While each passage addresses themes of sacrifice, obedience, and atonement, they do so within different contexts and theological frameworks.

Parashat Vayikra Leviticus 1:1-6:7 emphasizes the ritual practices of sacrifice in ancient Israel,

Haftarah I Samuel 15:2 - 15:34 underscores the importance of obedience to God's commands, and

Brit Chadashah Hebrews 10:1-18 highlights the superiority of Jesus' sacrifice as the ultimate atonement for sin.

Sermon: You’re not an Adjective, You’re a Noun - pt.2

CAN YOU KNOW YOUR GENDER, S*X, and S*XUAL ORIENTATION AT BIRTH?
The bible, teaches that personhood originates at conception when God forms a new human life. All people have sacred worth as persons made in His image. This confers equal value, dignity, and eligibility for salvation through Christ to all human beings regardless of gender, race, class, age, or ability. Biblical personhood is grounded in being created and redeemed by God in His image. Science and History also directly agrees with and supports the Bible’s teachings. One need not to quote 1 single bible passage to be clear about KNOWING one’s Gender, s*x, and s*xual orientation.

The Scientific Consensus on When a Human's Life Begins:

Peer-reviewed journals in the biological and life sciences literature have published articles that represent the biological view that a human's life begins at fertilization ("the fertilization view").
