Snakes were mentioned at this church this morning and my ADD brain said "Oh ya, I still would love to post my sweet creations!"
They were Rust Magnolias Marketplace yesterday π
Couple of close ups of two of my favorites up at Rust Magnolia in Ruston π€
I'm curious though, where has some of my other work ended up?! I LOVE getting pictures of pieces of my art on your wall or leaned up on an office desk. If you do have a piece from me, care to share where it's ended up? π
Had the best helper today to get me set up at Rust Magnolia π More information and pictures coming up soon, but I wanted my daughter to help me set up β₯οΈ She helps me figure out colors, stitches, and even clamps jewelry together. So grateful for her!
Just as grateful for a friend and community that got me into this precious market to sell some of my art. It's still odd that people are so interested in what I make! A blessing that I won't be able to thank anyone enough for! π
I've been trusted to do some super challenging things so far and have been given a lot of room to play with many things. Thank you for everyone's personal, professional, and social engagement, transactions, and boosts! It was already a difficult decision for me to publicly start selling my art as I can see every detail I wish I could change. I guess we all do that π But through some life changing things happening lately, I've still been being supported as an artist in my little community! I wish I could thank you better than that.
Soon, I'll be posting soon about some "charity" pendants soon; things easy to make that I can bust out quick to surprise someone close to me β₯οΈ At the end of those pictures I'll be adding a small something as a raffle as well. Until then, here's some very fun things I've been asked to do lately π₯°
π₯³ HAPPY NEW YEAR π
To start it off~
a Houston pendant for our daughter π©·
April 11, 2019 and more wonderful than she was the first time we knew about her! She has been such a joy through so much darkness lately so I wanted to give her birth city a go first π€
I'll be working up Memphis and Shreveport soon for my and my husband's birth towns, then I'll be trying a Ruston one to be giving away for our favorite town! I want to practice on these tiny, open stitches a bit more and play with fabric types before I do, but y'all be watching now.
I do have some other small things outside of embroidery coming up π
hanging around π
my biggest plant yet π
I love doing these πΏ
Progress is πΏ growing π
β₯οΈ MERRY CHRISTMAS π€
Christ is King.
You are loved.
This isn't all there is to it.

A lot of these truths have been on repeat in my head as my dad has gotten cancer for the second time recently. A total laryngectomy has really put him down before his fight against the cancer can even start. I would say I am sorry for being so quiet, but my focus has been elsewhere and I'm glad for the ability to do what I've been doing lately for my parents.
But, I've still been stabbing in the background against the social media hiatus, so here is only a small portion of what's been up my sleeve~
I'll be doing some raffles, biddings, SOMETHING, etc. here soon to compensate for my silence a little after the new year. My attention will be on random projects I've had saved in my sketchbooks and have wanted to do for a little while, just to hammer out some art and try some new things. So, here is a dump of what I can post for now. Thanks for your scanning of my art and even more gratefully, thank you for prayers in this and the upcoming season. I have ready been scared to get this business started since social media is intimidating, but I have some sources I plan to soak from for the "know how" so I can take this on.
I will still be willing to do some customs, y'all just gotta let me know! Even if I post something that sparks a new idea, please share it with me! Things have been dark and having some firey excitement from others would be the best gift.
Again, the most important thing about all this ~ Merry Christmas!! This year has not been wrapping up like we ever would've thought, but God is, was, and forever more shall be good. On top of that?
He is WITH us β¨

Art notes π€
Gotta keep myself in line somehow π€·ββοΈ
Don't forget to come see me tomorrow at Briarhill Farms π₯°
My second project was this filled in cow π₯° I decided to start working with more line work pieces to nail down some of my eye-balling skills and hand coordination. Still growing that skill but I've seen the improvement π I must say, this really is still a favorite piece of mine π No skill needed to just start something wonderful π€
Ruston love pendant β₯οΈ
Playing with pendants π
I never posted about me giving some color to my church bag, I wanted to see how it would hold up! I'm tough on my stuff too, y'all π
I've had it done for a while now and so far so good! It's holding up nicely considering some of the stitches are so LONG! I'm thankful I gave the "short stich, long stich" thing down, but this was the second "fill in" piece I did fully.
I'm tempted to post my first fill in piece. It was a cow whom I've redone since then, but never posted the original. It's a little rough but cute I guess π€·ββοΈ If I hunt it down, I'll throw it up soon too π

Thank you friends for those who have been supporting me through online interaction or in person purchases! I have officially landed on a name that I felt led to. All of this work as been "stitched faithfully" with the hope that God will provide the right people to provide what I need to make this work. It has been a scary start to sell my art, but I have only been met lovingly. So, because of this support, I decided to promote more online! I am working to boost my husband financially and support myself through seminary school!
I will be releasing the location of my first even that I will be bringing some products to soon!
