Imposter syndrome 🤷‍♀️THIS Picture made my day and is a pure example how in matter of minutes some people show you love and kindness and others don’t. This am 2 ladies past by my store and they were saying to each other, that my art look like a child did it and one of them made a remark how she herself could do that. Maybe not intentional wanted to say it to me directly and I did not mention to them that in fact it was my store and my art what they were talking about. It made me feel down for few seconds and them realize no you have been working on this for a while Maria Elena, my art is made by me and totally from my heart and yes is my inner child coming out to play and my dream has been always to try to make others smile. Few minutes after this beautiful young girls came over, and their were polite, kind and so encouraging and they made me feel so much happinesses. They took hundred of picture and say they love this and that. They just did the eleven plus exam one of their mother mention extremely lovely lady who said to me “love your art is beautiful “ so yes this 2 events happen in a matter of minute, honestly I pray we can continue to show this world who we truly are without allowing us others dull our light, if it comes from your heart is always going to be beautiful and is ok if others have a different opinion…Imposter syndrome is something we humans do tend to have a lot specially artist. I choose to continue my path, I know I am not the best artist or the best at anything really, but painting bring me peace and happiness and I know it has done the same to others too. So the 2 ladies who had made the remarks to me about how childless is my art I thank you because you remind me I still working on my imposter syndrome as your comment did bother for few minutes, and to this beautiful young girls I want to thank you for your beautiful energy, your words and allow me to take a picture with you all, you made my day you honestly did. I think many of us in Barbados can agree that your all made us smile and dance with happiness. .abba did few events during the visit to Barbados and truly were lovely. I love this 2 beautiful girls are sister and they were supported by their beautiful family who attended their events with them. In one of them Barbados at their mum celebrated her birthday and we all join to sing happy birthday to her. The band is pure happiness and it makes people from any age dance, sing and truly have a very memorable time. Thank you for visiting our store. We are truly thankful! Thank you for your music. As a huge Abba music fan I love it. We know you all will be back !

Sometimes things take time to arrive, my sister for a while had ask me to make a heart for her, in Christmas time while I was visiting her in Madrid she ask me to please make one for her while I was there. The fact is it took me forever to find a art shop, the day I decide I was going to paint one for her I them walk over to get the canvas to paint one and I had found the store close. So it in the end I was not able to do one during my visit. She came over to Barbados for few days and yesterday I decide to paint one for her, I name it BLOOM to remind her about Life and Growth The act of blooming represents the growth and vitality of life. It symbolizes the emergence of new beginnings, opportunities, and possibilities. I choose the colors of the blue sky and the ocean her favorite place to be and admire. This heart will be traveling with her to Madrid and I hope always is reminder of hope, love and your endless opportunities to follow your heart and achieve your dreams. choosetoflourish🌼
