The DeepVote (“DV”) platform is designed to provide every user of the world the ability to influence how governments enact laws, and spend money, by putting their opinions on the world stage, and enabling them to combine their forces to enact change, or to maintain the status quo. The goal of DV is the global integration of political thought. DV’s mission is to provide all of the worlds’ citizens
a means to find a common way forward at the State, National and Global level, while simultaneously enabling them to improve their lives within their local communities. In today’s democratic countries, the average citizen only has the right to vote for elected officials, and sweeping propositions, once every few years. This right significantly limits their ability to influence government, because the ratio of elected officials to users is too large to allow any elected official to truly know what their users want. Further complicating the citizen s’ ability to be heard are the real-world time constraints of work, family and health, which dramatically limit the efforts that anyone can dedicate to the unlimited number of challenges faced by society. Finally, money interests, and other politically motivated tactics have created a system of government that is not required to consider the will of the people when conducting its affairs. DeepVote solves this problem by using the tools of today, to put the power of government, into the hands of the people.
