Also, who am I? The words “I don’t wear color” came out of my mouth not too long ago and here I am, buying color for myself. Is it summer yet? I’m already planning outfits to wear to lunch and the pool with friends and it’s March. But we have had a few days of beautiful weather and now if it gets cold again, I’m staging a revolt!

I admit that my go-to places for girls’ dresses are probably the same as everyone else my age with kids: Zara, Janie & Jack (sale only 😂), Mini Boden (also sale…you see a pattern?) and Gap. I’m sure Old navy is in there somewhere. But this year I felt like the girls’ dress selection was lacking. I don’t normally find things on Amazon for my kids because I’m too busy looking for me 🙄, but a few of these dresses popped up on my Amazon page and I was pleasantly surprised at the ratings and price points! Kids grow like weeds (just call me captain obvious) and I just can’t spend an arm and a leg for things they will likely grow out of after one or two wears. Aren’t these cute? My love for tiny Peter Pan collars runs deep and even if they go out of style, it’s too bad because half of my wardrobe and my kids’ wardrobe are adorned with them.

I got one vest and one sweatshirt and now I’m wondering why my entire wardrobe isn’t espresso. I have the puffer vest (top middle) and sweatshirt (bottom right) and have worn them more times than is probably socially acceptable within the week or so of owning them. But the color is just so cute. I know y’all have seen the Alo line that is espresso and it’s darling—but this gives the same vibes without being ridiculously expensive.
