From the 20th July until 31st August complete as many Maprun courses as you can to give points for your school! Complete 3 or more courses to go into a prize draw for a Β£50 Amazon voucher and the school with the most courses completed wins a Β£250 Decathlon voucher to spend on school sport supplies! π€

Although our time at the current location has come to an end we will still have a small stock of children bikes Available from Community Grocery Burnley thanks to The Calico Group for giving us some space there to carry on . Bikes will be available from there next week.
We just wanted to thank you for your support at the Burnley pop up - both by coming and buying bikes but also for donating and sharing the work we are doing . Weβve really enjoyed our time there .

βπ ParkPlay Burnley are looking for ParkPlay Leaders for our up and coming ParkPlay at Scotts park πβ
This is a paid role, Β£15 an hour for two hours on a Saturday morning ππ½
Parents, grandparents, your neighbour, older siblings, whoever it may be.... The role of a park play leader is simply about encouraging people to come together and play π
Don't worry, no qualifications are needed and you do not have to commit to every Saturday morning (unless you want to).
We're looking for people who can support once or twice a month. Whatever works best for you :)

π΄What a great first week we've had at our pop-up shop in Charter Walk, Burnley! So much so, we're running low on bikes and need to amend our opening hours slightly this week to restock!
πWeβre closed this Saturday, 4th May, but will be open as usual Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd, 11am - 3pm, where you can pick up children's bikes for Β£25, or just Β£10 if you trade in, and adult bikes for Β£50!

Mick from the NGT The Great Outdoors team will be at the Active cycles shop on Wednesday's 8th, 22nd and 29th May π²
He'll be around 10-12 to support anyone wanting to learn how to make minor repairs to their own bikes, as well as fixing up some of the donated bikes π§

We know our Beat the Street players are pretty decent when it comes to getting their steps in.... So why not join the Big Burnley Walk this Sunday 28th April! π£
Online registration has now closed with over 150 people registered to join us across all 3 routes! πΆπ½ββοΈ But don't worry, you can still register on the day! ππΌ
Starting and finishing at Burnley Youth Theatre, each walk departs at a different time, so please make sure you get there a good 15 minutes or so prior to register and/or check in βοΈ

Well what a beautiful day it was yesterday for our final community planting day of the 23/24 season π
We had lots of fabulous volunteers at Bedford Park who planted over 500 Native trees! π³

On Thursday, Alexis arrived at the tree planting site at Burnley Wood Park to find the Councils CEO and COO getting stuck in πͺπΌ
