Help Us Serve: Volunteer with FBMS
You can make a difference in countless ways, and one of the most impactful is volunteering to prepare bagged lunches for those in need. Earlier this summer, we welcomed the 2024 Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders in partnership with Bridgewater State University to visit our MainSpring House shelter in Brockton. They learned about our mission and rolled up their sleeves to assemble prepared bagged lunches for our shelter guests. Our shelters always need lunches on weekdays and weekends. In June, we were thrilled to welcome Sean, a former program participant, to his new home in our new supportive housing apartments at the Yawkey Housing Resource Center in Quincy. After facing homelessness, it was incredibly rewarding to see the joy on the faces of our new tenants as they received the keys to their new homes.
