Djack and Hannah already had their wedding in the US, some weeks before they had this reception here in the Philippines. It was also one of the few times that we were booked solely to do a wedding video coverage. As a creator, I was truly excited. We were already advised to that Djack and Hannah will not be doing prep shoots. In my head, I had a template of how I would normally do a coverage. But not being able to shoot that much details and candids as we normally would, I was anxious that we will not be able to capture much. Oh, I was very wrong. When the couple arrived, and yes this was our first time meeting them, they were just filled with energy and love. They made it so easy. and since, it was an intimate gathering of family and friends, there were so much going on. It was electric. So we ignored our usual workflow and just let the story unfold. It was beautiful. Thank you Djack and Hannah for having us.

Mark and Joie are very good friends of mine. More than a decade ago, I was able to photograph their engagement. And as a photographer, it is always a special experience when you are photographing people who are very dear to you.

Last month, I had the honor of photographing their very intimate 10th year anniversary. They did their renewal of vows at the same church where they got married a decade ago. It was such a beautiful occasion. I'm immensely grateful to Mark and Joie for allowing me to be a part of this incredible celebration of love.

One of the great joys of being a photographer is to be able to document family milestones. But being able to document milestones after milestones for the same family is probably the greater joy that one could ask for. We shot Aldy and Nat's engagement session, the baptism of their first child Anya, and now Miyo's baptism. And to add to that, they made me Ninong. How great is that?

During baptisms, there is nobody prouder than the parents who are presenting their child before God and the congregation. Anya's baptism may have been very intimate because of the pandemic, but the face masks and face shields that Aldy and Nat wore cannot hide the pride and joy on their faces. You can really tell that there is an abundance of love and happiness. Present at the event were a few members of their immediate family and a multitude more of their family and friends joined in the zoom coverage.
