If there is enough interest we are planning to do a Couch to 5K programme starting week beginning 8th July finishing up with our 5k on 16th August. Training days, times, cost TBC but we would more than likely be using the Wilkinstown Greenway for sessions. If your interested or know anyone who might be just drop a message to page here 😁

Team Rathkenny were once again in action over the weekend. First up was John Farrelly who ran a cracking time down in Omeath at the Long Woman's 5k. Our juveniles were also in action in the Inter Club League, and Luke and Leigh put in a very strong performance to finish in 8th place overall in the All Ireland Pairs Turbo Javelin competition in Tullamore. Well done to everyone who got out and about over the weekend ❤️🖤👏

Another weekend come and went and Team Rathkenny were out and about. We had Edwina in Trim for the Braveheart 5k, John was in Drogheda for the Boyne AC 5k, Brendan was in Moylagh for the JFK 50 mile, and David was in the UK for the 108 Mile Montane Summer Spine Race along the Pennine Way. Well done to everyone, super going 👏❤️🖤

Another busy weekend kicked off when Andy and Ray took to the roads around Newgrange when they took part in the St Marys GFC Heritage 5k. We then had Emma, Clodagh and Niamh taking part in the Leinsters, well done to Niamh who took home another Leinster medal. Finally Adam ran a cracking 16.26 in Bohermeen. Well done to everyone ❤️🖤👏👏

Another weekend over and Team Rathkenny were out and about again. We had Aoife taking part in the Brendan Martin 4 Mile on Thursday evening. Then on Sunday we had Edwina taking part in the Mini Marathon and Leigh and Luke taking a bronze at the Leinster Pairs. Well done everyone ❤️🖤👏👏

We are excited to announce that registration for this years run will open tomorrow at 9am. We have an earlybird price of €15 plus booking fee running until 30th June. A busy weekend for Team Rathkenny kicked off on Thursday when some of our members took part at the Run With Ray event in Blackwater Park, Saturday seen a few hardy souls head to Donegal for the Slieve League Challenge, followed by our Juveniles heading to Navan for the relay championships, and on Sunday we had members attending the Wilkinstown 5k and Slane Castle 5k. Busy weekend for Team Rathkenny 😊 We had Jimmy, George, Elaine, Paula, Natalie and Therese strutting their stuff on the streets of Drogheda at the ever popular Drogheda 10K., while Anita made the trip to Limerick for the Great Limerick Run. Please support this Fundraiser for our Community Centre. There are exciting plans in development which will have a direct positive affect on our club including a running track. Rathkenny Community Centre acts as our home, our training base and our 5k Race H.Q. in August. ❤️🖤
