Today is I had a creative plan to promote our book but I feel like that would not be appropriate because less face it. BLACK LIVES MATTER. George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, we love and miss you.
On my run this morning my heart was aching. So today, on National Running Day, I ask that you run for those who don’t feel safe running, or doing anything else that a white person would feel safe doing. Run for those who don’t have a voice that is heard enough, and be that voice when you can.
If you know someone today that can benefit from a copy of My Mommy Runs, please let me know and I’ll do what we can to get them a copy. I want to make sure that the positive messages we share in this children’s book get to people who can benefit from it, especially if they are hurting or angry. Please feel free to share, comment, and tag others with this opportunity in a positive and respectful way. I’ll do my best to follow-up with everyone.
Windy 🌬 and chilly 🥶 morning run 🏃🏻 this morning 👍 As I was on my run I was pondering on the beauty and value of the process as compared to looking at the end result. It was a good reminder to track and celebrate progress and growth along the way. Here’s to celebrating progress this work week as we are half way through 😉👊⚡️ @ Downtown Austin, Texas

Do yourself a favor, no matter where you live. Shop with and support your locally and independently owned running specialty stores. It’s a win win 👍🏃🏻🏃♀️
