Get DUM DUM DUM publishes experimental lit and art that embraces hybrid, transmedia forms.
In addition to releasing a yearly print issue, we publish regular web features such as text message interviews, flash fiction, photo essays, and even serialized radio plays. Our 3rd issue, a fluxkit containing literary and art objects called “PUNKS & Scholars,” debuted at LA Art Book Fair’s ZINE WORLD in 2013. Issue 4, “Lost & Bound,” was introduced at the fair the following year as our very first

Hot off the heels from their summer gigs at and opening for legendary riot grrrls , the band gives us their latest single. “Death Dress” stands as a defiant statement against injustice, wrapped in Trap Girl’s signature blend of aggression and authenticity.

DUM DUM Zine is accepting submissions for Issue No. 8: our official return to print!
The theme? THE MUSIC ISSUE. 🎸🎸🎸
It’s no secret that this zine was founded with a deep love of music in mind, not to mention the rupture and merging of form and format. That means we’ll be accepting “traditional” music rag stories as well as the unexpected, the undreamt of, and the very thing music is all about: community. Send us your music love letters, review haikus, lyrical reimaginings, tour diaries, and then some. The sky’s the limit!
SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES:
