For a change I am posting about something a little more positive than usual, so it would be awesome if you could read my post 🫶🏻❤️

🐾➡️THE STORY BEHIND JADES BESPOKE KEEPSAKES ⬅️🐾
I have decided to start my own business (as well as my fulltime job!).

I going back to my crafty and creative routes after many years not using my skills as often as I should have & I have started a business on Etsy.

Since I was a little girl, I have had a creative flare and my skills have always been making and creating things. Life got in the way like with many people and I forgot I have skills.

In my 20s I had a business making jewellery which was actually quite successful, but work commitments prevented me from continuing.
That was 20 years ago, and since then I have only made jewellery special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries and one of my best friend Jo and Miks wedding. I plan to incorporate this
aspect of my skills to the Shop in the future.

My decision to launch my shop actually started from spending a small fortune on my fur-babies remembering them in different & special ways like bespoke urns, portraits & more and trying to decide how to remember my Dad and what to do with his ashes which I had has since he passed away in 2016.

One evening, I was having a conversation with my friend Karen and she mentioned she had seen a pretty Ornament containing ashes which she thought was a beautiful idea.
After that conversation it came to me; I HAVE THE SKILLS to create beautiful items with Ashes, Fur & Hair into Resin Art!

Since this idea my shop has expanded to pretty much anything you can think of I can make from Resin!

❤️‍🩹 My shop has come from many sad experiences but finding positive happy ways to remember those we have lost.
I have made jewellery and bespoke items for myself, friends, family or over 20 years, and many years ago had an eBay shop selling bespoke jewellery.

❤️‍🩹 During my lifetime I have had many furbabies and family members; cats, dogs and horses and every single one of them has been special and spent a long time trying to find a way to remember them all in a unique way.

🐾 Most of my furbabies were in my family from birth until they the day they closed their eyes for the last time. Two of my Cats were 27 (I was 32 back then), so my entire life they were family.
❤️‍🩹 My Fathers ashes I held onto for many years as I did not know how I wanted to remember him.
❤️‍🩹 It became obvious to me that he should also be memorialised and in a place, I can see to remember when he was here, not stuck in a box on a shelf. So, I created something personal to me and my connection with my Dad.
❤️‍🩹 Now I want to help people hold their families close to their hearts for eternity in their own unique way, so I decided to create my own keepsakes and jewellery as well as source and stock other products which I felt would appeal. All items I stock can be designed and created just as jewellery or art if required as well.

❤️‍🩹 It can be SO difficult finding that special way to remember someone, I would like to help make this sad time learning to live without them a happier future carrying them with forever.
After a lot of research and experience over the years I looked at many different options for keepsakes, but I realised the things which mean most are smaller more personal items which I could see or carry and every time I glance at them all the good and happy memories come flooding back 😊
❤️‍🩹 Memorialising your loved ones whether it’s your furbaby, family member or anyone else close using this method is a magical thing and can help us come to terms with our losses.
