My Story
Hello There,
My name is Julie and I am a Independent Designer with Chalk Couture.
My husband and I have been married for 31 years and we have 2 grown boys (empty nester’s). When our boys were younger and in school I had a small craft shop with my parents. We sold to local markets did craft events around Indiana. We had so much fun doing it together as a family business. As my boys grew, school and sports took up any spare time I had, it became too hectic to craft any longer. I also started working for my husband full time helping him grow his business. Now that my boys are grown and out of the house and I have cut back my hours at work, it’s now time for me to get back to doing what I love.
I stumbled upon Chalk Couture while on YouTube. I watched numerous videos and instantly fell in love with the idea of Chalk Couture. It’s brilliant. Who doesn’t like to DIY? It looked like so much fun I just had to join in. So I did, in November 2017 I joined Chalk Couture (without even trying the products first) and became an Independent Designer.
