In our journey of faith and brotherhood, we are often faced with challenges that test our obedience and humility. As we reflect on Philippians 2:8, we are reminded of the ultimate example of humility and obedience—Jesus Christ. This verse powerfully illustrates how Jesus, despite being divine, chose to humble Himself and obey God's will, even unto death on the cross.

At the 2024 US East Coast National Rally, there was some wisdom shared that resonates deeply with our mission and values. "99.9 percent obedience is still 100% disobedience." This powerful truth calls us to examine our hearts and our actions. Partial obedience is not enough; we are called to fully surrender and follow God's commands without reservation.

When we choose to disobey, even in the smallest matters, we are not walking in humility. Disobedience stems from the belief that our ways are better than God's, that our desires trump His commands. True humility, as exemplified by Jesus, is found in complete submission to God's will. It's about laying down our pride, our preferences, and our plans in favor of His perfect purpose.

Our lives are a testament to the transformative power of Christ's love and sacrifice. We ride not just for the thrill of the road but to spread the message of hope and redemption. To do this effectively, we must embody the humility of Christ. This means adhering to His Word in every aspect of our lives, no matter how insignificant it may seem.

Reflect on those words and ask yourself: Are there areas in my life where I am only 99.9% obedient? Am I holding back a part of myself from fully submitting to God's will? Remember, to be disobedient is to lack humility, as it signifies that we believe our way is better than God's.

Let us strive to be 100% obedient, following the example of our Lord Jesus Christ, who humbled Himself even unto death. In doing so, we not only honor Him but also become true reflections of His love and grace to those we encounter on our journeys.

Ride with humility, live with obedience, and let our lives be a testament to the One who gave everything for us.

As members of the Soldiers For Jesus Motorcycle Club, we are bound not only by our love for riding, but also by our devotion to Christ.

In John 13:35, Jesus imparts a profound truth: "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." As riders, we exemplify this love through our camaraderie, support, and commitment to each other.

Our unity is not merely built on shared interests or the thrill of the open road, but on the foundation of Christ's love, which compels us to care for and uplift one another.
