Congratulations! This is awesome!

CHASE President, Megan McBride, did a fantastic job presenting the “Roar with Confidence” public speaking presentation to our CHASE Next Generation middle school students! We are excited to begin offering this new club opportunity!

We’ve had a great week kicking off Red Ribbon Week 2023! This years theme is: Be Kind To Your Mind. Live Drug Free.

It has been a fantastic day at the Arkansas State Capitol with Governor Asa Hutchinson! Daniel and Megan were able to talk about our CHASE program with Governor Hutchinson and were even invited into his personal office! We would like to say THANK YOU to the Governor and his staff for such a memorable experience! Go, Cougars!

CHASE members represented ICHS at the Save AR Students Fall Rally on the steps of the Arkansas State Capitol this morning. CHASE president, Daniel Haley, and CHASE vice-president, Megan McBride, were two of the guest speakers. Students also toured inside the State Capitol and were invited onto the Senate floor!

5th & 6th grade summit was a success! The students went through 8 different sessions and enjoyed pizza, cookies, and drinks for lunch. It was a full day of awareness and fun. BIG brag on the CHASE members for taking on leadership roles today and always being GREAT role models for the 5th and 6th grade students. This is a special group! 🖤

Of course, thank you to our school family for going above and beyond for students! MS teachers for their classrooms, HS teachers for letting students out of class to lead groups, custodial crew for clean up, Mrs. Amy for the soda run, Mr. McBride for picking up the pizzas, and we can’t forget our administration for simply saying YES to days like today!
