The Polytheist Community Center (PCC) is a hope and a wish to create a safe place for polytheists and those interested in polytheism to gather, learn, and share. The aim is to help build a community of diverse polytheist religions that is built on respect, scholarship, and kindness. The PCC seeks to:
- Introduce people to different polytheistic beliefs
- Strength and empower people already on polytheist paths
- Bridge polytheists from multiple paths together
Our Story
Polytheist Community Center (PCC) endeavors to create a safe place for polytheists and those interested in polytheism to gather, learn, and share. The aim is to help build a community of diverse polytheist religions that is built on respect, scholarship, and kindness. Racism, sexism, transphobia, ableism, classism, and other forms of bigotry will not be tolerated and nor ignored.
As of 2018, PCC officially shifted its focus from an in-person community to a virtual one. This means that more resources will be put to establishing and maintaining online spaces, opposed to trying to build up a physical space. This shift was due to a large number of responses in a 2017 survey that wanted PCC to focus on online resources and spaces, since most of the interested membership lived in diverse regions around the United States and the world.
PCC still remains financed and organized by its sole president -- Marcella "Allec" Guire. This is due to change as PCC grows and expands.
