-What comes to your mind when I say ‘Point Grey’?
What I realized while I was working here is that it’s very tightly knit. All the know each other and we try and we try to each other in every way possible. All the people that come in are very and they like to support their business and I kind of get that sense of atmosphere in that sense.

-What do you love most about the West Side?
That home-y feeling. When we fist opened, we didn’t know what we would see in this . But after opening, we realized that everyone here is quite friendly and very . They were to have us here and we already have a lot of that we talk to and see and call each other by first name and its really amazing.

-How can the neighborhood improve?
Recently, there was a new year with the and it went from business to business and that was something I had never seen before. I’ve never seen a lion dance or that sort of thing happen in this neighborhood or any neighborhood. So more like that to more people and raise about the location- that would be something that I’d do if i was in charge. It was just very . I would love to see more of things opening up here and there [...] just doing my part as my part as a pharmacy to and hopefully have more of a street atmosphere. [...] more contributions from each business to help the and more fun events like that.

-Is the West Side “home”?
I mean, I went to school at The University of British Columbia (UBC) and I’ve been in this neighborhood for seven or eight years, so I was very familiar with most of the businesses here already. But I guess at that point I didn’t really consider it my cause I was in , and I wasn’t too aware of what this neighborhood really entailed. But after working here, it really hit home how it is in comparison to other places and it has a lot of to grow.
