Our friends at The Hickory Museum of Art are putting on their 10th Annual Autolawn Party soon! Free for spectators - and this year's brand focus is Porsche. 🔥
The Autolawn Party is an outdoor celebration of the road’s number one traveler – the automobile. The celebration is centered around a European classic car show for the automotive enthusiast, but it’s far more than that. There’s something fun for everyone. Events include the car show, food, children’s activities, music, beer garden, merchandise for sale and awards ceremonies. The event is open to the public, and there is no charge for spectators, who can also vote for their favorite classic car.

Operation Motorsport is a Veteran Led and Operated, 501(c)3 Not for Profit, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Brighton, Ontario. It's missions is to engage through Motorsport opportunities, US and Canadian medically retiring or retired Service Members, affected by military service, aiding in their recovery. Building upon the tenants of Team, Identity, and Purpose, the goal is to be the North American in veteran recovery through motorsport. Well, have we something for you! New this year, we offer the chance to get on track alongside a seasoned track guide to show you the ropes of high-performance driving. This experience will take place during one of the green run groups (your preference of day/time considered), and you'll be able to feel the thrill of the track at speed and see what all the fuss is about!

Registration for our June HPDE event in Alton, VA at VIRginia International Raceway is open! HPDE events are the safest and most affordable way you can improve your driving abilities on track. These events are the premier way to put yourself and your car to the test and learn how to be a performance driver. For beginners, we have excellent instructors that will ride along with you and show you the ropes of the course and what it means to drive at a high level. You can expect over two full hours of track time available to you. You cannot beat that.

Our first autocross event of the year is open for registration and is quickly approaching! Sign up and join us in Greensboro for some safe motorsports fun! Registration closes at noon on 4/21.
What is Autocross? It's a mini road course set up in a parking lot, and drivers compete to complete the course as fast as possible without hitting cones or going off path. It's a great way to start in motorsports and offers endless opportunities to enhance your skills.

Registration is $60 for PCA Members, but we also welcome non-PCA drivers! If you are not a member, registration will be $65. This is a great time to join PCA and enjoy reduced registration prices, among many other great benefits.
The 2023 Autocross schedule is here! We currently have FIVE events, two at Greensboro Coliseum and three at the Michelin Proving Grounds! These events are the most affordable and low-risk ways to get into high-performance driving in the Carolinas Region. Test your mettle between the cones. Each event has a unique, custom-made course that will challenge your mental agility, shifting prowess, and finesse. It's you against the clock. Will you be the quickest in your class?

The 2023 High-Performance Drivers Education schedule is here! We have FOUR events this year, two at Carolina Motorsports Park and two at Virginia International Raceway! These are the premier way to put yourself and your car to the test and learn how to be a better performance driver. For beginners, we have excellent instructors that will ride along with you and show you the ropes of the course and what it means to drive at a high level. For the seasoned drivers, you already know what to expect, and we'll see you on the track!

PCA Carolinas Region is excited to host our traditional fall Club Race after a 10-year hiatus. We hope you will join us for some great racing, good ole southern food and hospitality, and unforgettable memories. The 2022 “Carolinas Challenge” Club Race will be held on October 21-23 at Carolina Motorsports Park. Our challenging 2.3-mile road course is located in Kershaw, SC, about one hour south of Charlotte, NC and 30 minutes west of historic Camden, SC.
The points races at this Club Race will earn points towards the 2022 PCA Club Racing National Championship Points Series. Come join the fun at Carolinas Region’s “Carolinas Challenge” Club Race!

On Saturday our Hickory region members and guests met at in the morning for some breakfast then drove up to Little Switzerland to enjoy some lunch at the local inn. After filling up with some good food, completed the journey with a trip to a local winery. Great day, with great company.

Our Hickory area members and friends of members recently made a trip up to to check out some of the projects and the workshop. Plenty of things to check out and we had a great time.
Could you use another Porsche in your life? How about a GT4 RS? PCA National is currently running their Spring Raffle and for $50 per ticket, you will be in the running for potentially winning perhaps the most coveted car of 2022 or a very lovely Cayman S. Either way, you cannot go wrong.
