Michael and I were treated to another wonderful night of authentic English food, with family . This is our second dinner at the English Pub South Bank, and my goodness the food didn’t disappoint. Their signature Scotch Eggs were to die for, the Yorkshire puds cooked to perfection. Thanks again for your hospitality, and see you all soon. .yung2

My daughter Olivia made a yummy watermelon and strawberry smoothie. She used a handful of strawberries, 1 cup of water melon and topped with ice and coconut water. Blended till it formed a frappé consistency. A sprig of mint who enhance well.
Super hydrating, refreshing and loaded with goodness. 😘

Had a whole heap of home grown organic jalapeños that needed to be used. So we decided to pickle them. We have now popped the seal on the jar and Olivia has given them the thumbs up, they are so tasty and hot.

Saw this hack on another page thought I would share. You can bottle any fruit like grapes, blue berries, raspberries and they keep so fresh. ½ of my spray free grapes gone already, Spray-Free Farmacy nothing like it, fruit that actually tastes like it should and full of nutrients as nature intended. Day 8 - Wholistic Journey to Health
We have discussed daily rituals to help you start your journey to wholistic health, these include:
Daily gratitude writing
Daily Meditational Techniques
Grounding/Earthing Techniques
Ensuring you find time for yourself - take a bath, read a book
Reducing stress
to name a few

Now lets take a look at financial. The area that can have the most impact on your health. Yet is the area that most are afraid of, including me, it has taken me a long time to have the confidence to look at my bank accounts in detail. If you are stressing and worrying about your financial well being you will undoing all the amazing good you are doing in your body right now.

How to look after your financial health:

Create a spreadsheet, have a column down the left that has headings on Income, less direct debit expenses (list all of your direct debit expenses first, these are the expenses that come out each month regularly. Also in this category are the quarterly, 6 month, and 12 monthly expenses like, car rego, council rates, council water rates, body corporate fees to name a few. Next list all your other expenses like food, fuel, entertainment, gifts, pocket money for kids, savings, chiro, vet, misc, clothing, school books etc... you get the drift.

Next across the top left to right list the months of the year, have 1 column for the month, then a column to the right with says actual. Here you can list what is budgeted, and the what has actually come in and gone out. Make sure you total your income, then take off your actual expenses, this will give you a net postitive or negative figure. If the figure is positive then you are under budget. If it is red (negative) then you have over spent. You need to look at where this has occurred and fix this issue for the up and coming months, so you are not constantly in the red.

The end goal is to be neutral or adding additional funds to your account each month to give you a buffer should something unforesceen come up.

If you have any questions please pop them in the comments below and I will be more than happy to answer them.

Please note I am not a finanical planner or adviser. This is general information and advise only from my own personal experience. At the end of the day eveyone is responsible for their own financial health and well being.

Day 6 - check in day

Day 5 - other meditations you can do simply each day as part of your wholistic health journey

Yesterday we talked about grounding or earthing we breathe as a meditation. This is know as a focused meditation. It involves using concentration along with any of our 5 senses.

Other forms of focused meditation are:

Starring at a candle flame - I find this one amazing, I look into the candle flame and take deep breathe, then exhale. This practice can be done for any length of time for me 3-5 minutes is good

Counting your breathe - just simply counting your deep breathes. Be present and if your mind wanders take note and then bring yourself back to self.

Colouring in - many people don’t know this but colouring in is a form of meditation too.
Simply find a design you like snd colour. It allows you to focus on and get lost in your creation.

Taking a bath, closing your eyes and focusing on your breathe. Add your essential oils, or use a bath bomb gifted to you by a loved one…

Another form of meditation is active meditation. This is where movement guides you to a deeper connection with your body.

Examples are :
Yoga
Walking
Gardening
Tai chi

I find these are the easiest for me.

Remember when your mind wanders. Always. Ring yourself back to self.

Remember
Gratitude writing when you first wake up
Followed by a meditation or earthing, then read over your goals, and make any small changes that you need too.

Please share what your favourite mediations are.

Day 4 - grounding / earthing

28/12/2021

Day 3 - wholistic approach to health

27/12/2021

Day 2-wholistic approach to health

26/12/2021

Day 1 - Thank you for your patience. Sometimes things don't quite go to plan. This can happen on a health journey too. I planned to have the first post up much earlier, however things happen.

This is a little intro into what to expect on this journey.
This is not about the next fad diet, or eating plan that may or may not work. This is about you.

Everyone will have a different journey. Everyones body and DNA is different this is why, what works for one will more than likely not work for the other.

This is about changing your lifestyle to suit you.

The education you will receive is practical and can be adapted to your individual circumstance. Taking control of your health, is not just about your diet and exercise, it is also about your mental, and financial health too. We need to take a look at all 3 areas in order to create a lifestyle that we can manange for our overall health.

My goal for everyone is to feel better physically and mentally, and achieve the outcome they desire.

So over the next 24hrs meditate for a moment, or sit down with a pen and paper and write down what it is you hope to achieve.

Write some physical, mental and health goals to start this journey. I will share with you tomorrow what mine are.

Enjoy the journey, and please share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Will be off the grid for a few days. Relaxing, unwinding, soaking up the rays, grounding ourselves in nature..

No New Years resolutions here (between you and me they don’t work) so let’s start early… and don’t worry I will let you have a cheat day for New Years, as long as you promise to start again the next day…

From the 26th December 21, I will be posting daily videos on what I do in a day to look after my health…

I will also start a weight loss challenge as Covid and all the other happenings have taken a toll… so join me on the 26th and let’s see where the journey takes us….

15/12/2021

Nothing like starting your day with a cold pressed juice.
I made up a box of veg drinking some and frozen the rest for later in the week.
2 whole celery’s
5 red apples
2 lemons
2 limes
1 x k**b turmeric
1 x medium - large k**b ginger
Put all ingredients through a cold press juicer
Makes just over 2 litres.
Veg purchased from Spray-Free Farmacy
Great for detoxing, gut health, boosting immunity, dealing with inflammation in the body, and heart health. 😘

It’s important to reduce the toxicity load on our bodies.. a lot of people don’t realise that after you have washed your clothes the chemicals from the wash can still seep into your skin.

The skin is our largest organ and is very absorbing and needs caring for.

To help with this I wash my families clothes using doTERRA tea tree and eucalyptus oils, bi carb soda to help remove stains and on guard washing liquid for an over all wash and help to boost immunity. This is a perfect cleaning clothes cleaning mix. From time to time I change it up and use lemon and lavender DoTERRA essential oils too.

27/11/2021

Home grown fresh chilli, with garlic and grated ginger… who can guess what we made for dinner? 😘

Today’s yummy super food lunch, all the greens with Shredded carrots, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cabbage purple and green, fried noodles, fried cranberries, and a yummy lemon oil dressing.
Raw, delicious and full of vitamins, mineral, and protein ❤️

No lemons, no problems.
Needed lemon juice to finish off a raita. But had run out.
A few drops of dOTERRA lemon essential oil saved the day. The lemon flavour is spot on.
