Our organization operates in the Denver area and is dedicated to fostering healthcare development around the world. Since 2013, The Wealth of Health has been working with the people of Sirisia, Kenya to provide healthcare infrastructure and sustainable healthcar
e development in the rural community hospitals of this remote sub-county in western Kenya. Our organization consists of an innovative network of students and non-profits in the US and the Sirisia government, bridging ideas and working to innovate and support locally specific solutions that draw together multiple stakeholders for results-based programming. As an international nonprofit organization, we work directly with the local government to utilize local knowledge and maximize community ownership of the project. Improve and modernize the healthcare infrastructure of the Sirisia Sub-County Hospital and the 7 smaller clinics in the area.
2. Alleviate the jigger epidemic that hurts primary-school aged children by holding jigger campaigns that treat the infection and provide shoes.
3. Improve education in Sirisia by constructing computer labs in secondary schools.
4. Continue to build an effective public health project that assists local governmental and non-governmental partners in achieving sustainable programming goals using international resources
