Hey there, we are going to have an on farm pickup this afternoon from 3-6 pm. We’ll have radish, carrots, spinach bunches, cabbage, sprouting broccoli, heading broccoli, salad turnips, bok Choi, and a couple others. If you can’t make it we can work out a time that works for you🙏 happy new year!
We will not be attending the November 25th farmers market. We will see you in December though with fresh carrots. 🥕
If you’re an early bird at the Denton Community Market we will have cilantro, kale, Bok Choi, Haruki Turnips, sweet and spicy peppers. For late comers I can promise sweet peppers, come see me.
Cucumbers are a little curly this year. We don’t have a lack of pollinators but the cuc’s are planted next to the squash blossoms which are more desirable for the bugs leaving the cucumber blooms as second choice.
This sunburst patty pan squash wanted to be everything on its blossom end.
I want to be a blossom, no another squash, no leaves, no stem, EVERYTHING!
Do you feel like this sometimes?
Whenever we started growing on our our Neighbor “Larry’s Garden” it was pure beach sand. It’s has taken several years to turn it into chocolate cake, but we did it. Keep your gardens covered, add organic matter, grow plants, add lots of water, and one day you can have chocolate cake too.
